Job Summary:

The Patient Access Representative II (PAR II) position is a critical role in the ambulatory team, requiring a unique blend of administrative and clinical skills. As a key member of the team, the PAR II will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure seamless operations in the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate data.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and providing basic life support.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and instructions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to resolve patient concerns and address any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with a strong background in administrative duties and clinical procedures.
  • Basic Life Support certification required; knowledge of a second language a plus.
