  1. Position Summary

Under the guidance of Food and Beverage Management, oversee the Front of House operations for various dining venues, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

  1. Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise team members in Food and Beverage operations to guarantee top-notch guest service and presentation.
  2. Assist in the counseling, coaching, and disciplinary actions of staff as necessary.
  3. Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
  4. Provide feedback to management regarding staff performance on an ongoing basis as part of the evaluation process.
  5. Complete opening and closing checklists for all dining areas and oversee related staff assignments.
  6. Ensure all opening and closing sidework is completed efficiently.
  7. Monitor sidework during shifts to maintain appropriate equipment levels.
  8. Ensure all dining outlets are properly prepared for the start and end of service.
  9. Facilitate a positive guest experience and ensure smooth daily operations.
  10. Engage in staff training and consistently monitor performance to uphold service standards.
  11. Circulate through dining venues, interacting with guests and assessing service quality.
  12. Address issues and implement service recoveries as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  13. Supervise staff adherence to punctuality and uniform standards.
  14. Regularly communicate with staff to convey needs and objectives while encouraging feedback and idea sharing.
  15. Conduct spot checks on in-room dining services.
  16. Report any product or service deficiencies and take ownership of resolving these issues.
  17. Understand POS systems and perform basic functions at service stations.
  18. Document and report any safety hazards or unsafe practices to management.
  19. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  1. Qualifications and Skills
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in upscale Food and Beverage service.
  2. At least 1 year of experience in a hotel Food and Beverage environment preferred.
  3. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  4. Food Handler Certification required.
  5. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills, including guest service motivation and the ability to effectively supervise and foster teamwork among staff.
  7. Experience in catering to high-profile clients with discretion.
  8. Familiarity with liquor liability laws is essential.
  9. Must possess a friendly demeanor and enjoy interacting with people.
  10. Embrace and exemplify the mission of the organization with a participative, hands-on approach.
  11. Bi-lingual abilities (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
  12. Willingness to work flexible hours, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekends, and holidays.
