The S L A M Collaborative Inc. is seeking a dedicated Project Financial Analyst to enhance our team.

As a Project Financial Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure precise and prompt financial management of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and project data for designated assignments.
  • Generate monthly billing statements, financial forecasts, and project oversight documents.
  • Establish and oversee project setups in Deltek Vantagepoint in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and record labor and expenditure budget assessments for assigned projects.
  • Address inquiries from team members, suppliers, or clients, and relay financial insights to Project Initiators and Managers.
  • Maintain comprehensive accounting documentation.
  • Evaluate consultant billing, liaise with consultants, and facilitate their invoices for Project Manager review and approval.
  • Assess accounts receivable for project payments and scrutinize consultant invoices for potential disbursements; submit payment requests to the accounts payable department.
  • Examine project agreements and additional service requests to comprehend the financial stipulations of each project.
  • Analyze project expenditure reports and engage regularly with Finance Management and Project Managers to discuss project status regarding billing, profitability, earnings, and costs.
  • Comprehend how projects generate revenue and incur costs within the accounting framework, assisting in the analysis and documentation of monthly project revenue and cost accruals.
  • Foster collaboration with Project Initiators and internal team members.
  • Support the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and clients.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, along with the ability to analyze and report on financial documents.
  • Advanced expertise in project financial management concepts and practices.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint or comparable project financial management software is essential.
  • Capability to work autonomously with strong organizational skills.
  • Highly driven, team-oriented individual with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities, collaborate with diverse teams, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
