Branch Operations Leader

Position Summary
The Branch Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing and guiding the branch's daily functions. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, ensuring high standards of customer service, fostering employee development, and maintaining exceptional productivity levels. The individual will enhance the branch's market position while optimizing profitability. This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires adherence to the company's drug and alcohol policy, along with compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
Core Responsibilities
- Increase branch and district revenue by meeting financial targets aligned with the business strategy.
- Effectively manage a diverse customer base, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Lead and develop a varied team, ensuring efficient operations and employee growth.
- Implement safety training programs and uphold a comprehensive branch safety plan.
- Oversee fleet inventory management to maximize revenue and profit margins.
- Conduct Profit and Loss reporting and operational assessments.
- Generate, analyze, and review daily business reports to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set sales and profitability objectives for the branch, developing and executing operational plans and budgets to achieve these goals. Regularly assess performance against targets and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure product pricing aligns with profitability objectives by reviewing and adjusting costs and pricing strategies.
- Manage branch inventory to guarantee security, accuracy, and fulfillment of customer product needs while meeting turnover goals. Implement a cycle counting program as per established guidelines.
- Supervise storage and delivery operations, including receiving, labeling, and order fulfillment. Develop and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate product distribution.
- Ensure the security and proper maintenance of all branch assets, including property and equipment, by establishing security protocols and scheduling regular maintenance.
- Control operational costs across the branch, including labor, supplies, freight, and utilities, to ensure overall profitability.
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations, including OSHA and DOT standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Results-driven with strong presentation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with others to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce applications.
- Possess emotional intelligence and effective leadership capabilities.
- Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience in operations management, preferably within the trench shoring or construction sectors.
- A valid driver's license is required.
