Job Summary

BrightView Landscape Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tree Care Crew Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of tree care services, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and providing leadership and guidance to our crew members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the tree care crew, ensuring that all crew members have the necessary resources, training, and equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Schedule Management: Review and manage crew schedules to ensure optimal resource allocation and timely completion of projects.
  • Pre-Shift Inspections: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections to ensure that all Class B equipment is in good working condition.
  • Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with branch management, customers, and employees as needed to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Tool Operation and Safety: Safely operate tree and landscaping tools, as well as heavy equipment, as needed.
  • Transportation: Safely transport crew members to and from job sites, adhering to company safety policies and ensuring public safety.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the arboriculture or landscaping industry.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license, CDL Class B license, and medical card with first aid and CPR certification.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual: Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking.
