Position Overview:
Leadership Responsibilities
- Oversees, assesses, and evaluates the performance of branch personnel and field teams, recommending suitable rewards for exemplary performance or necessary corrective measures.
- Monitors and evaluates the financial outcomes of the branch in relation to established budgets and strategic plans.
- Directs the activities of the field staffing team, including group formation, weekly meetings, loan processing, and effective application of poverty targeting strategies.
- Encourages staff and clients to uphold high performance standards.
- Facilitates relevant workshops and meetings aimed at the development of branch staff and clients.
- Fosters positive relationships to ensure support for program execution and growth.
Administrative Duties
- Manages the launch of programs in new areas, including information systems, internal controls, and program policies and procedures.
- Responsible for financial and operational oversight, including the creation and analysis of performance metrics, identifying operational challenges, and formulating effective responses to achieve target objectives.
- Ensures that financial records are accurate and that timely financial reports are generated.
- Manages branch funding requirements and the allocation of resources.
- Maintains all office equipment, supplies, and communication systems.
- Prepares and submits regular reports on loan disbursements, collections, savings mobilization, fund management, and attendance at meetings.
- Conducts fieldwork to support the efforts of field staff in group formation and training, attending meetings and performing spot checks on loan utilization.
- Develops branch-specific plans and targets related to outreach, loan disbursements, collections, savings mobilization, and financial sustainability.
