Job Summary

Civista Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager II to lead our retail banking team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coaching and building a high-performing team, inspiring and motivating staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Development: Coach and develop a team of retail banking professionals to achieve sales excellence and deliver world-class customer service.
  • Business Growth: Create and execute a strategic plan to drive business growth, increase sales, and expand market share.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and community organizations to promote the Civista Bank brand.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including managing facilities, staff, and resources.
  • Financial Management: Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure alignment with bank-wide goals.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies, and identify and mitigate risks to the bank.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 4+ years of experience in retail banking or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles, including sales, marketing, and financial management.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions

The Branch Manager II will work in a fast-paced retail banking environment, with frequent interactions with customers, staff, and partners. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
