Overview: As a Data Analyst II, you will play a pivotal role in delivering critical data and analytical insights to support strategic decision-making processes. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive on problem-solving and are passionate about helping clients achieve their business objectives.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate, document, and present both ad-hoc and routine reports, accompanied by visual representations and analyses, to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize various data sources to create reports and visualizations, employing analytical tools such as SSMS/VBA, Power BI, Excel, and Access.
  • Enhance reporting dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, integrating statistical data effectively.
  • Provide actionable insights by merging in-house and external data sources along with industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to showcase program outcomes and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy while optimizing reporting processes.
  • Engage in quality assurance programs and support the development of analytical tools.
  • Work closely with technical teams to standardize data processes and reporting software.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of data standards for effective data collection.
  • Document processes and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Conduct peer reviews of analytic tools and reports produced by colleagues.
Qualifications:

Education:
  • BA or BS degree required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science).
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in a data or healthcare-related discipline.
Experience:
  • At least 3 years of relevant analytics experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in healthcare management, including areas such as Health Plans and Insurance.
  • Preferred: Experience in Workers' Compensation.
  • At least 1 year of experience in presenting complex analytics findings.
  • Proficient in analytical software and database reporting tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite.
Required Skills:
  • Advanced: MS Excel
  • Intermediate: SQL, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Beginner (Preferred Intermediate): Power BI, MS Access
Additional Skills:
  • Beginner: MS VBA, Tableau, SSMS, R, Python
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
