Join McKinstry's Energy Division as a Senior Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our growing Energy division in Houston, TX. As a Senior Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the industry by offering consultative sales solutions to our clients in the built environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will build solid relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the built environment, delivering consultative sales solutions to meet the unique needs of each client. You will also stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations and share this knowledge with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Build solid relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the built environment
  • Deliver consultative sales solutions to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations and share this knowledge with clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless sales experience for our clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-7+ years of proven sales experience with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure systems, facility management, and critical facilities such as data centers
  • Knowledge of financial acumen
  • A deep understanding of the built environment and the challenges faced by our clients
  • Strong consultative sales skills and the ability to build relationships and trust with key stakeholders
  • The ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical clients
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • A self-starter mentality with a drive to continuously learn and grow
What We Offer

At McKinstry, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $106,650 - $159,975 per year, as well as a bonus structure and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
