Position Overview

SM Diversity is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing and communications efforts during a pivotal time in our organization’s journey. The CMO will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our brand, enhancing our visibility, and driving engagement across diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with SM Diversity's mission and objectives, ensuring a cohesive brand message across all platforms.
  • Communications Oversight: Serve as the primary strategist for all communications initiatives, focusing on innovative messaging and storytelling that resonates with our stakeholders.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor the Marketing & Communications Team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
  • Brand Management: Establish and maintain high standards for brand identity, ensuring all marketing materials reflect our values and mission.
  • Performance Measurement: Set measurable goals for marketing initiatives and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with community leaders and organizations to enhance our outreach and impact.

  • Extensive experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the nonprofit or philanthropic sectors.
