About the Role

  • Lead efforts to develop and execute on security and compliance strategy and roadmaps for AWS Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans.
  • Design, optimize, and implement operational processes aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with strategic initiatives.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting mechanisms.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders for successful outcomes.
  • Adapt strategies to align with evolving business needs.
  • Act as a facilitator/trainer to enable team adoption of tools and processes.
  • Maintain responsibility for security health of Marketing platforms and applications.
  • Participate fully in planning for AWS Marketing's security requirements and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Support AWS Marketing teams with AppSec processes, including product and vendor security.
  • Build relationships and influence stakeholders across AWS security and Marketing teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multimillion-dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
