Job Summary:

Guidehouse is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Account Representative to join our team. As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for processing overpayments made to the Management Services Organization (MSO). This role requires strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process returned refunds and scan and validate refund department batches.
  • Communicate issues to management in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of related experience and general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing.
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding.
