Patient Account Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Account Representative to join our team at Guidehouse. As a Patient Account Representative, you will play a critical role in processing overpayments made to our Management Services Organization (MSO).
Key Responsibilities
Process returned refunds, scan and validate refund department batches.
Communicate issues to management in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisors.
Utilize good written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
Develop basic computer skills to efficiently process and manage data.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of related experience and general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing.
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding.
