The Patient Account Representative will assist interpret hospital policies, procedures, and services, and obtain solutions to problems and concerns. May also assist in the handling of patient inquiries, correct/update billing details. This is onsite in Birmingham, AL.
What You Will Do:
Entry-level professional focused on routine delivery, requiring some experience.
Patient billing and posting in healthcare setting.
Relies on detailed instructions or standard procedures to accomplish tasks and solve problems.
Tasks consist of routine or well defined, with standardized solutions.
Analytical ability and foresight. A good researcher that has the determination to try and try again.
The position will support similar duties and responsibilities of researching to resolution.
Maintain research documents, and electronic data collection forms to ensure compliance with research protocols
Performs daily review of the automated unidentified report and other research buckets or batches distributed by Supervisor.
Follows specific instructions and guidelines to deliver on routine day-to-day objectives within job area.
Tasks consist of routine or well defined, with standardized solutions.
Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
Entry-level professional focused on routine delivery, requiring little to no prior experience.
Uses detailed verbal or written instructions or standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
Problems faced are minimal, refers issues to higher levels within the department or the appropriate functional area.
Relies on detailed instructions or standard procedures to accomplish tasks and solve problems.
Works under significant, close supervision.
What You Will Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
1-2 years relevant experience.
Mandatory Overtime may occasionally required for this role.
