Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Chief Financial Officer will report directly to the CEO and will oversee the financial operations of RK Pharma Inc. and its subsidiaries. This role is crucial to the senior management team, with expectations to engage in strategic decision-making and manage the financial resources, accounting, and treasury functions of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive financial guidance to affiliated companies to achieve their financial goals, including the formulation of an annual budget.
  • Regularly engage with the Board of Directors, Committees, and Senior Management regarding financial statements and the overall fiscal health of the organization.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for management and Board review.
  • Coordinate all internal and external audits of the company’s financial records.
  • Lead finance and accounting initiatives, including the establishment of an inventory costing system and processes for consolidating subsidiary financials.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and incentive programs aimed at operational enhancements.
  • Ensure the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP or IFRS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop an annual budget and monitor variances against actual performance.
  • Manage the accounting team effectively.
  • Oversee finance and accounting operations, ensuring robust internal controls are in place.
  • Analyze and recommend investment opportunities and manage capital expenditure programs.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred CPA designation.
  • Familiarity with international financial systems, particularly those in India, is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant financial and operational management experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, along with experience in QuickBooks and other financial software.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting for mid-sized enterprises.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with a capacity to collaborate with international teams.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is advantageous.
