Position Summary for Territory Sales Manager – Chemical

We are in search of a driven and enthusiastic sales professional focused on the chemical sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with the promotion and sales of our chemical offerings, fostering robust client relationships, and meeting established sales objectives in the Northeast region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business avenues while nurturing existing client relationships within the chemical domain.
  • Establish and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship cultivation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, ensuring effective communication and a thorough understanding of our chemical product specifications.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to enhance product offerings and promotional strategies.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any concerns.

Position Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred; a High School diploma is acceptable.
  • Prior experience in chemical valve sales or a related field is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of chemical products and their applications is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are required.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel for short overnight stays within the designated territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software is a plus.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $168,000 annually.
