As a Business Development/Sales Representative, you will be responsible for implementing our sales strategy and nurturing relationships with existing and potential clients to drive revenue growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying customer pain points and offering tailored solutions
  • Maintaining an updated sales pipeline and ensuring opportunities progress smoothly through the sales cycle
  • Prospecting and developing relationships with assigned accounts
  • Collaborating with our Corporate Marketing Specialists to prepare sales information and proposals for customers
  • Attending and participating in weekly sales meetings to align strategies and objectives with team members

You will also be responsible for developing relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, and electrical contractors to keep them up to date with new products and solutions offered. Additionally, you will attend tradeshows and industry meetings for prospecting and staying up to date on product innovations, capabilities, and market/industry trends.Qualifications and Education Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience in limited energy sales or a related field (plus)
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, sales tactics, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of manpower and resources
  • Ability to develop sales goals that relate specifically to obtaining assigned goals
  • Ability to understand the scope of the contract documents and the scope of the associated work to be performed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivation and results-driven
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal software programs
Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. You will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers, and fax machines. You will occasionally be required to lift files and open file cabinets. You will frequently be required to sit, stand, and occasionally required to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, or crouch. This position may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
