Job Summary

Prism Health North Texas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Service Representative Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for managing the flow of patients in a clinical and nonclinical setting, both in-person and on the phone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and supervision to the front desk staff, ensuring that registration and front desk policies and procedures are being followed and maintained.
  • Answer telephone calls, take complete messages, and relay calls efficiently to staff or to voicemail.
  • Check in clients, verify patient demographics and insurance, update forms and consents, and control the collection and reporting of co-payments.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of office supplies, purchase office supplies, and organize supply room/cabinets.
  • Identify ways to improve work processes and procedures or methods and make recommendations to the clinic administrator or associate clinic administrator for appropriate changes to improve effectiveness, productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising staff in a medical facility or physician's office.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong sense of professional boundaries and communication skills.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook and data entry.
  • Ability to handle multiple, ongoing tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively between multiple departments.
