Patient Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Vista Physical Therapy in Dallas, TX. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients promptly and provide a helpful and welcoming experience
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's schedule
- Collect patient health insurance, demographics, and referral information
- Collect co-pays and patient financial responsibilities at time of visit
- Reconcile payment reports and manage patient records
- Perform general administrative tasks, including faxing, e-filing, and managing patient records
- Work with other staff members to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- 1+ year of medical office administration experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and software skills
- Ability to multi-task well under pressure
- Extremely detail-oriented and thorough
- Team player with a positive attitude
