About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a Welcoming Presence: Greet patients, families, and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Seek to Understand Patient Needs: Listen attentively to patients' concerns and respond promptly to their inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Serve as a Liaison: Facilitate communication between patients, families, and medical staff, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Respond to Patient Inquiries: Provide information on healthcare services, facilities, and directions, ensuring patients have the information they need to navigate our campus.
  • Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with Lead Patient Services Representatives to resolve problems and ensure successful business operations.
  • Provide Electronic and In-Person Check-In Support: Assist with patient check-in processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients and families.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 Months Customer Service Experience
  • CPR Certification
