Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Prism Health North Texas. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Provide timely and professional communication with patients and clients via phone, email, and in-person.
    • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Administrative Support
    • Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Check in patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and update patient records.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and correspondence.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 2 years of experience in a medical or administrative setting preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Additional Skills
    • Experience with medical billing and insurance claims.
    • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality protocols.
