POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a personable Front Desk Agent to deliver our renowned service. From welcoming guests during check-in to addressing ongoing inquiries and requests, our Front Desk Agents are vital in crafting an unforgettable guest experience.

Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Silver Lake, Silver Lake Pool & Inn features 54 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, a serene pool deck for relaxation, and the lively outdoor dining venue, Marco Polo. Our establishment embodies the spirit of the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist guests with the check-in/check-out process, including billing and confirming contact details.
  • Serve as an informed guide, sharing insights about the hotel, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere through friendly and positive communication with guests and colleagues.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with guests in alignment with our service standards.
  • Ensure clarity and personality during the registration process and guest arrivals, while addressing feedback and settling accounts.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Input guest information and payments into hotel management software.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to guarantee a seamless guest experience.
  • Anticipate guest needs and seek opportunities to exceed expectations, encouraging repeat visits.
  • Maintain attention to detail, whether it involves organizing the lobby or assisting guests.
  • Uphold established policies and procedures with professionalism.
  • Communicate guest requests or concerns to the Front Desk Manager, Housekeeping, or Engineering as necessary.
  • Conduct safety checks and adhere to emergency protocols when required.
  • Assist other departments as needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable operation for guests and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Positive attitude and energetic demeanor.
  • Strong service orientation and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and computer proficiency.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Preferred: Minimum two years of experience in guest reception or a similar role, ideally in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
