Key Responsibilities- Provide top-notch customer service to faculty, staff, students, and guests, meeting and greeting them with a smile.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, adhering to department standards and policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, equipment, and service wear.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down coffee stations and product displays.
- Restock and maintain supplies, food items, and utensils to ensure seamless service.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold food and beverages to our guests.
- Assemble and package food and beverage products with precision and care.
- Interpret and execute directions and requests on Banquet Event Order forms.
- Provide basic audio-visual support and services as needed.
- Open and close facilities as required, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Participate in our kitchen sanitation program, adhering to standard food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required, staying up-to-date on department service standards and university rules and regulations.
- High school degree or equivalent not required.
- 0-6 months of experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Cash handling and barista experience a plus.
