About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team at the Arena. As a key member of our Guest Services Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences at all events, including VIP areas. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service, from greeting and directing them to providing mobility escorts and general assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct VIP guests
  • Provide mobility escorts and general assistance to guests with disabilities
  • Check tickets and credentials for guests attempting to enter VIP areas
  • Control ticket and credential access points
  • Assist with information requests and notify supervisors of guest complaints
  • Effectively interact with angry or emotional guests and team members
  • Ensure guests exit the venue safely
  • Assist guests during emergency situations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Reliable, punctual, and regular attendance with good communication skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Maintain a high standard of grooming
  • Ability to take direction well and work well with others
  • Must be available to work at least 5 evening events per week, including weekends
  • Able to stand for multiple hours and lift/push/pull 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of Usher/Ticket-Taker experience at the Arena
  • Basic typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required
