Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Sector Sales Executive to join our team at RingCentral. As a key member of our Public Sector segment, you will be responsible for driving sales in New York and building strong relationships with our regional VARs.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on State & Local Government, Higher Education, and K12 above 400 employees
  • Technology field sales in a greenfield space using remote resources (engineering, marketing, business development, etc.)
  • Partner with regional VARs to effectively identify, engage, and deliver new customers
  • Owning strategy around funnel, pipeline, forecasting - owning GTM for respective patch
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex sales cycles and negotiating win-win agreements based on value-based selling
  • Communication proficiency in PBX, UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP
  • 15-25% travel in the territory

Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technology solution-based selling (SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud applications, VoIP, telephony) at an Enterprise Level
  • Experience selling to State, Local, Higher Education, and Healthcare Verticals
  • Experience with strategies in formal responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
  • Demonstrated sales record of obtaining/exceeding quota
  • Skilled in conducting presentations, online web demos, adhering to and adopting a measured sales process
  • Success prospecting, engaging, acquiring net new logos
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Entrepreneurial flare - ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
  • BS degree, continued training and education preferred
