Job Title: Business Development Leader

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a global leader in water recovery, treatment, and reuse. We design, supply, and service a range of water systems and monitoring equipment in various industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and microelectronics.

Job Summary:

The Senior Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with key customers in the industrial water treatment and water process industries. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies to drive revenue and market share growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Provide technical sales support and guidance to customers and internal teams
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical sales in the industrial water treatment and water process industries
  • Strong understanding of the industry and its trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solid steel industry experience in business development or building growth plans
  • Demonstrated track record of technical sales in the relevant industry vertical
  • Able to develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels, including the CEO staff level
  • Strategic or product marketing exposure
  • Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions
