Job Summary

As a Strategic New Business Sales Director at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the Health Plan segment. This is a highly visible position that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all facets of the sales process, including financial analysis, proposal development, presentation, and contract negotiation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external key prospects and consultants.
  • Influence RFP responses and profit management opportunities by utilizing consultative selling skills, deep knowledge of unique contractual parameters, and recommending and/or co-designing CVS Health solutions to meet key client needs.
  • Share best practices and provide leadership on Business Unit and Team calls.
  • Mentor other employees to improve their understanding of the sales process in the health plan segment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of cumulative experience managing large complex sales in the PBM, health plan, or related healthcare field with a focus on new business development and a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with large employer and/or Health Plan RFPs.
  • Ability to interface with all levels within CVS Caremark.
  • Demonstrated action/problem-solving orientation.
  • Experience with PBM products and services and a strong network of consultants.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
Education

Bachelor's Degree required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $105,000 - $231,100.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
