We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Postpartum Nurse Residency Program at ChristianaCare. This 24-week preceptor-led clinical training program is designed to provide new RNs with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in Maternal Child nursing.
As a Postpartum Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including new mothers and their newborns. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support to families during this critical period.
The Postpartum Nurse Residency Program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
Program Highlights- 24-week preceptor-led clinical training program
- Accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program
- Opportunity to work with a diverse patient population
- Supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Graduating from an accredited nursing school before June 2025 (BSN preferred)
- BLS required
- Less than 12 months experience from the program's start date
- Eligible for Delaware or Compact State licensure as a Registered Nurse
Submit a cover letter expressing your interest in the Postpartum Nurse Residency Program, along with your resume and unofficial transcript. Two clinical recommendations will be required, but not at the time of application. If you meet the minimum qualifications, a separate email will be sent from an outside vendor for you to provide us with your clinical instructors' information.
