Industrial Program Manager

The Program Manager will oversee key industrial initiatives. This role is crucial for achieving program goals and requires close collaboration with the Program Sponsor and the Program Management Team to establish objectives, develop plans, and execute strategies effectively.
The Program Manager should possess a solid understanding of the technical and organizational contexts in which program deliverables are developed and utilized. Excellent communication skills at all levels within the program environment are essential, along with proactive leadership qualities, the ability to influence stakeholders, and adaptability to a dynamic, potentially geographically dispersed environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to the scope, timeline, resource allocation, and budget as outlined in the Program Management Plan.
- Guide the program management team in crafting and managing the Program Management Plan within the parameters set by the Program Sponsor.
- Enforce change control procedures for program scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
- Negotiate with functional managers and organizational leadership to secure adequate resources with the necessary skills for the program team.
- Facilitate the timely resolution of issues, including escalating matters beyond the program team's control.
- Continuously identify and proactively manage program risks and issues, ensuring the execution of corrective action plans until resolution.
- Monitor program progress and regularly report status updates to management.
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- A strong grasp of finance and cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in English.
- At least three years of experience in program management, either as a team member or leader, with a solid understanding of program management principles.
- Leadership attributes: Effective communicator, organized, influential, action-oriented, self-motivated, and an implementer.
- Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time (both domestically and internationally).
