Job Overview
Landed LLC is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to oversee residential maintenance accounts in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture and field operations, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing $1.5M to $2M in residential maintenance accounts, designing and selling enhancements of $1M annually, and fostering strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and upselling landscape enhancements. Key Responsibilities
  • Managing residential maintenance accounts from sale through production, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline.
  • Scheduling work to ensure efficient routing and timely production in order to meet customer needs.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of crews to meet budgeted hours and materials costs while maintaining superior quality.
  • Ensuring crews have the proper equipment to do their jobs and that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Inspecting properties prior to scheduled service to prepare specific action plans for service, adjusting schedule as needed, and following up.
  • Maintaining and managing all required paperwork.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships with residential clients in Northern Virginia.
  • Ensuring customers are completely satisfied through effective communication, relationship building, and regular site visits, becoming a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Developing customized landscape maintenance plans that exceed expectations.
  • Ensuring seamless service delivery by collaborating with our operations team.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact, promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Enhancement Sales:
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance clients' landscapes with value-added services, estimating, and selling those enhancements.
  • Developing compelling proposals and negotiating contracts to secure additional revenue.
  • Monitoring project performance and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets.

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Prior proven experience in horticulture and field operations, such as maintenance techniques, bed maintenance, pruning, and planting, and turf care.
  • Proven experience as an account manager and selling enhancement work to residential landscape clients.
  • A degree in horticultural or turf management is preferred, but sufficient experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Strong plant & turf insect/disease identification.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Landscape Management Network software is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
