Position Overview

The Client Manager I plays a pivotal role in our Client Engagement strategy at Lockton Northeast. This position is responsible for managing the daily service needs of our clients under the guidance of the Unit Manager, Account Executive, or Senior Client Manager.

Key responsibilities include supporting the marketing, placement, and servicing of specific insurance lines, as well as handling day-to-day administrative tasks.

The Associate will need to be well-versed in Lockton Northeast's resources, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.

Participation in the Lockton Northeast Career Foundations Program or Career Advancement Program is expected, aimed at providing both technical and practical training for career development.

A successful Client Manager I will assist the Unit Manager, Account Executive, or Senior Client Manager in delivering exceptional service and achieving transactional excellence.

Core Responsibilities
  • Assist the Unit Manager, Account Executive, or Senior Client Manager with Lockton Northeast clients.
  • Support the service delivery and renewal process for a designated portfolio, including marketing and overall service.
  • Respond to client inquiries and maintain thorough documentation of communications and resolutions.
  • Deliver client service in alignment with Lockton Northeast's processes and Client Engagement strategy.
  • Facilitate the implementation of new coverage lines by organizing accounts and reviewing program details.
  • Gather and compile exposure information from clients.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to request and collect quotes from carriers.
  • Audit quotes and endorsements, making necessary change requests.
  • Process audits and create analyses for clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and present materials as directed.
  • Ensure policy completeness and accuracy upon receipt.
  • Update specifications and application information throughout the year.
  • Support new business initiatives and prepare materials for client presentations.
  • Manage compliance communications as required.
  • Assist with analytics by gathering benchmarking and industry data.
  • Coordinate with accounting and administrative teams for invoicing and documentation.
  • Conduct basic contract reviews and resolve accounting issues as needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent education and experience.

A minimum of two years of experience in commercial Property and Casualty insurance or insurance broking/consulting is required.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines are essential.

Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.

Compliance with company policies and confidentiality of client information is crucial.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Legal eligibility to work in the United States is mandatory.
