Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at Pride Health. As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and register arriving patients.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, evaluating priority and directing calls accordingly.
  • Schedule new patient appointments accurately and inform patients of essential preparation requirements.
  • Review daily Televox report of appointment confirmations to ensure accurate scheduling and patient communications.
  • Collect co-payments and office charges as needed, explaining office payment billing policies to patients.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting waiting room environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Positive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate in other languages highly desirable.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office software.
  • Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to travel independently to satellite offices.
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance requirements.
