Patient Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at Pride Health. As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and register arriving patients.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, evaluating priority and directing calls accordingly.
- Schedule new patient appointments accurately and inform patients of essential preparation requirements.
- Review daily Televox report of appointment confirmations to ensure accurate scheduling and patient communications.
- Collect co-payments and office charges as needed, explaining office payment billing policies to patients.
- Maintain a clean and inviting waiting room environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Positive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in other languages highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office software.
- Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to travel independently to satellite offices.
- Strong working knowledge of insurance requirements.
