Job Overview

Sparks Group is seeking a Senior HR Operations Manager to support the Director of HR Operations in developing and executing HR strategies that enhance operational efficiency and compliance across the organization.

This strategic role will focus on process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and elevating the employee experience.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in HR operations, with a strong background in performance management, change management, organizational development, benefits administration, and compensation planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of HR Operations to develop and implement HR strategies, integrating industry best practices and trends to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of HR programs.
  • Oversee the HR Information System (Workday) and other HR tools, ensuring they are effectively utilized to streamline operations and enhance the employee experience.
  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records and core HR systems through proactive audits and compliance measures.
  • Evaluate HR processes for efficiency and quality, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives that support business objectives and employee needs.
  • Maintain and update the Company Handbook, HR policies, and processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards and relevant employment laws at both state and federal levels.
  • Manage all immigration processes, including I-9 and E-Verify compliance, ensuring alignment with legal requirements.
  • Review, process, and approve HR transactions in Workday, maintaining adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Work closely with IT, Accounting, and Legal teams to ensure seamless HR operations and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of HR experience in an operations role, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proficient in Workday and other HR systems; experience managing HRIS functions is a must.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated passion for accuracy, process efficiency, and effective people data management.
  • Strong background in performance management, change management, organizational development, benefits administration, and compensation planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
