Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

Are you passionate about shaping the overall people strategy for a business and want to be part of a winning team? We're looking for a strategic HR partner to join our Tech HR Business Partner team at Capital One.

This individual must be comfortable working in a matrix environment to lead initiatives and broaden experience while being agile in deepening business knowledge in vertical functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within Tech and deliver an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs and broader Tech organization.
  • Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design (including spans and layers work).
  • Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross-pollination, collaboration, and high performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience.
  • At least 6 years of client-facing experience OR at least 6 years of consulting experience OR a combination.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources.
