Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and execute the division strategy, manage work programs, and plan financial and operational activities.
- Work closely with the Managing Director on division, center, and sector initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration within and across MITRE Labs and FFRDCs to develop shared outcomes.
- Support the development of an inclusive work environment within L110.
- Lead and coordinate L110's summer intern program.
- Oversee the day-to-day business operations of the Division, working with Division and Department leadership, as well as PLs and financial managers.
- Support communications efforts, including quarterly highlights and Impact Stories.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD with relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Two years of project or people leadership experience.
- Experience working with the Federal Government.
- Demonstrated experience in building trusted relationships.
- Clear and articulate written and verbal communications, combined with a technical and business understanding.
- Demonstrated professionalism with senior MITRE and sponsor leadership.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong understanding of at least one of L110 technical areas, including networking engineering, networking security, cloud and containerization, wireless and satellite communications, and IT service management.
- Experience with budgeting and staffing.
- Business understanding of FFRDC operations.
- Degree in technical management.
