Position Overview

Job Title: Healthcare Operations Coordinator

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 4+ months with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Conduct outreach activities as directed, utilizing various communication methods, including outbound calls to healthcare providers, members, vendors, and other external contacts to enhance health behavior engagement and promote positive health outcomes.
  • Engage directly with members through effective communication strategies to encourage the utilization of available benefits, thereby supporting their health behavior engagement.
  • Deliver exceptional service levels to improve customer interactions and overall experience.
  • Guide and educate members on health program participation and preventive care strategies.
  • Ensure member confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide support across various internal teams as needed.
  • Maintain and manage reports, tracking, and data analysis as required.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership and team members regarding the outcomes of member and provider interactions, ensuring clear and accurate documentation.
  • Assist colleagues through referrals, managing communication channels, and relevant documentation tasks.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a willingness to learn new concepts.
  • A growth mindset and the ability to think creatively to solve challenges faced by members.
  • Experience in care coordination, HEDIS measures, or medical office support.
Preferred Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Knowledge of scheduling systems.
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or customer service.
  • The ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency with technology, including the Microsoft Office Suite and tools for member communication.
