We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team at Insurance Office of America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing an assigned book of business, meeting performance requirements, and ensuring high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage an assigned book of business, meeting performance requirements regarding production, quality, and service.
- Regularly interact with new and existing clients on moderately to high complex P/L accounts.
- Develop creative solutions to meet client needs regarding coverage and cost.
- Actively seek to grow IOA business, identifying and acting on sales opportunities.
- Track policy expirations for existing clients and work proactively to ensure appropriate actions are taken to facilitate renewals.
- Facilitate the management of Expiration and AR reports.
- Participate in new business and policy renewal process, including conducting client research, gathering necessary information, evaluating and negotiating coverages and pricing, generating and presenting proposals, binding coverages, and preparing Summary of Insurance.
- Create and distribute client invoicing for new business, renewals, or premium-bearing transactions, and collect outstanding balances due.
- Assist with facilitation of client claims processes as needed.
- Develop and maintain positive carrier relationships.
- Monitor individual performance to ensure productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards are met.
- 5+ years of insurance experience.
- College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- All required active licensing - minimum of 20-44.
- Advanced customer service skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to perform substantial work volumes with high degrees of accuracy.
- PC proficiency, including basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret data for application in rational decision making.
- Exceptional personal character.
