About the Opportunity

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in a critical role that drives strategic partnerships and business growth.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your expertise in business development, strategy, and partnership management to drive results-oriented solutions for our organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing annual and long-term sponsor partnership programs to achieve collection goals, identifying and applying creative strategies to attract and retain Blood Program Leaders/Sponsor partnerships, and maintaining accurate system records and providing tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance.

  • Main Responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work on a team and analyze historical collection data, project upcoming collection trends, define goals, develop measurements, and achieve operational improvements in key performance metrics.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000-$85,000, plus incentive, depending on location and qualifications.
