Responsibilities

  • Effectively identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calls.
  • Meet with business owners and senior executives to review and analyze their current business banking situation.
  • Analyze customer loan and deposit needs and make recommendations.
  • Cross-sell business products and services proactively.
  • Gather financial information and move loans through the system from inquiry to closing.
  • Monitor and manage existing portfolios to ensure client needs are met.
  • Maintain and expand existing loan and deposit relationships with customers.
  • Practice exemplary security and loss prevention skills.
  • Process special handling requests within reason and bank policy.
  • Manage an effective follow-up system.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales in banking or lending required.
  • Retail sales and service experience, including cash handling preferred.
