Position Summary:
The Territory Sales Executive is tasked with promoting and selling the company's products and services while achieving designated sales targets. This role involves managing specific territories and conducting on-site visits to clients. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is essential, alongside representing the company with integrity and professionalism. The primary focus will be on selling Motive Power products, including forklift batteries and chargers, as well as deep cycle batteries and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client locations within the assigned territory to engage with existing and potential customers.
  • Deliver professional presentations and demonstrations of products and services during visits.
  • Expand sales within targeted accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Address and overcome customer objections effectively.
  • Highlight product features and benefits, provide pricing information, and discuss credit terms.
  • Build a network of referrals to drive revenue growth.
  • Offer basic technical support and a solution-oriented approach to product specifications.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and recommend technical solutions.
  • Generate new customer accounts to enhance revenue, including cold outreach.
  • Utilize the company CRM system to document sales activities and manage follow-ups.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor to positively represent the company.
  • Efficiently manage a call schedule to cover the assigned territory.
  • Leverage marketing data and sales management tools to optimize sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience with forklift batteries and chargers is advantageous.
  • Background in material handling sales/service is a plus.
  • Experience in industrial application sales is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in solutions selling is highly regarded.
  • A minimum of three years of direct external sales experience is required.
