As a Neuroscience Sales Executive, you will have a remarkable opportunity to promote our CNS portfolio to primary care providers and specialists, including Psychiatrists, Neurologists, and Institutional Accounts such as Skilled Nursing Facilities. Your role will involve stimulating demand by offering comprehensive clinical insights, implementing sales and marketing strategies in the local market, and collaborating to deploy approved services tailored to the needs of each account/customer. Our Neuroscience Sales Executives excel in navigating the most challenging commercialization hurdles in today’s fast-evolving landscape and must exhibit strong capabilities in the following areas:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Business Planning & Account Management - Utilize digital tools and data-driven insights to identify opportunities, formulate strategies and tactics, allocate resources to enhance sales effectiveness, monitor progress, and adapt direction to optimize sales outcomes.

Effective Selling - Communicate messages clearly and persuasively to clients, adeptly assess customer needs to address objections and fulfill educational requirements. Conclude every interaction with a commitment to action to influence behavioral changes.

Customer Engagement Development - Craft customer engagement strategies that encompass identified clients and key stakeholders across various touchpoints, including Private Practices, Institutions, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and others in the patient care continuum.

Local Market & Therapeutic Knowledge - Collect and analyze key trends and dynamics in the market, map account relationships, and apply extensive therapeutic knowledge to identify and prioritize unique opportunities.

Reimbursement Acumen - Consistently demonstrate the ability to stay informed on reimbursement trends, proactively address payer access challenges specific to the promoted portfolio using Lundbeck resources. Leverage a deep understanding of the Medicare payer landscape alongside other payer channels, including Medicaid and Commercial.

Pharmaceutical Compliance Knowledge - Apply knowledge of the pharmaceutical and regulatory landscape, ensuring accountability and adherence to Lundbeck policies and procedures, as well as FDA regulations regarding the promotion of pharmaceutical and medical products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Sciences from an accredited institution 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales, or related healthcare sales Proven ability to excel in disease and product training assessments, including annual product knowledge certification Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and exceptional communication skills Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key clients, office personnel, and others in the customer influence network Proficient in Microsoft Office software Must reside within 40 miles of territory boundaries A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards is essential Compliance with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers/customer facilities is mandatory for continued employment with Lundbeck

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a specialty product sales force. Prior experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience therapeutic areas in primary care and specialty settings including Psychiatry, Neurology, and Institutional Accounts Documented successful sales performance, including national sales awards Ownership and accountability for the development and execution of fully integrated account plans Previous experience in institutional account healthcare sales (IDNs, Hospitals, Community Mental Health Centers, and Skilled Nursing Facilities) CNS selling experience related to Alzheimer's, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia & Anxiety Experience in product launches, with a proven ability to achieve results in a challenging and ambiguous market Strong analytical skills, with experience using sales data reporting tools to identify trends Previous experience collaborating with alliance partners (i.e., co-promotions) Demonstrated leadership through participation in committees, job rotations, panels, and related activities

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% - 40% domestically to (a) regularly meet/interact with the customer base and internal personnel within the assigned territory; and (b) typically attend 4-8 internal/external conferences and meetings across various locations. Travel must be conducted in a timely manner.
