About the Role:

As a seasoned Environmental Project Manager at S&ME, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, including proposal development, client relationships, and coordination with regulatory agencies. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating jurisdictional waters, obtaining necessary permits, and conducting surveys for protected species. You will ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting safety, quality, and financial goals while optimizing project profitability through effective staffing.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences from an accredited institution.
  • You possess 12+ years of experience in wetland delineations, stream determinations, environmental permitting, mitigation, protected species surveys, and ecological surveys, with a focus on the southeast region.
  • You hold PE, QHP, and/or CNRP accreditation, which is a plus.
  • You have GIS experience and/or knowledge.
  • You have the ability and desire to train and mentor staff.
  • You have experience interacting with regulatory agencies and representatives.
  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
