About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Orchards of Michigan. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, including the building, building systems, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, coordinate, and/or perform building maintenance, services, and repairs to ensure the facilities are safe and well-maintained.
  • Develop and lead a team of maintenance staff to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations.
  • Manage budgets, equipment, and other resources to ensure optimal use and minimize waste.
  • Develop and implement safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for staff and residents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in physical plant and equipment maintenance in an institutional environment with supervisory or management responsibilities.
  • Current knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to laundry and housekeeping work in long-term care.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.
