About the Role

Clean Harbors is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maximizing operational profit through effective planned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily work orders and parts availability inquiries to ensure efficient maintenance operations
  • Schedule maintenance in accordance with manpower and shop space availability to minimize delays and maximize asset availability
  • Work closely with internal and outsourced maintenance facilities to ensure seamless maintenance operations
  • Manage fleet repair orders and communicate repair timeline status to all necessary parties
  • Track all repairs in the Clean Harbors Asset Management system, including repair order notes, quotes, inspection forms, purchase orders, and final invoices
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field
  • Driver's license required
  • Passport and ability to cross international borders required
  • Ability to travel 10-25% of the time
  • Strong leadership and personnel development skills
  • Ability to work across business lines in a matrixed organization
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of fleet maintenance systems and processes
  • Ability to create actionable items out of data and information
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, and MS Project
