At DVS, we understand that our employees are our greatest asset. We are currently seeking a qualified Systems Administrator to enhance our operations. This role necessitates U.S. citizenship and the capability to secure a security clearance. The position supports a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage Windows-based servers.
  • Examine system logs to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Implement operating system updates, patches, and configuration modifications.
  • Install and configure new hardware and software solutions.
  • Manage user accounts, including adding, removing, or updating information and resetting passwords.
  • Document system configurations meticulously.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues, ensuring network infrastructure reliability.
  • Configure, add, and delete file systems as needed.
  • Maintain consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Conduct SCAP scans and complete STIG checklists to ensure compliance with Information Assurance requirements.
  • Adhere to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) guidelines.
  • Oversee the installation of McAfee software, including Common Management Agent, Threat Prevention, HBSS, Endpoint Security, and Virus Scan Enterprise.
Qualifications
  • Ability to maintain focus during scheduled work hours.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while working on a computer.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a good command of the English language.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capacity to learn and remember routine tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in business correspondence.
