At DVS, we understand that our employees are our greatest asset. We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to enhance our operations. This role requires U.S. citizenship and the capability to secure a security clearance. The position supports a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage Windows-based servers.
  • Examine system logs to detect potential issues.
  • Implement operating system updates, patches, and configuration adjustments.
  • Install and configure new hardware and software components.
  • Manage user account information, including password resets.
  • Document system configurations meticulously.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues to ensure network reliability.
  • Configure, add, and remove file systems as necessary.
  • Maintain consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Conduct SCAP scans and complete STIG checklists to support Information Assurance compliance.
  • Adhere to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) guidelines.
  • Oversee the installation of McAfee software, including Common Management Agent, Threat Prevention, HBSS, Endpoint Security, and Virus Scan Enterprise.
Qualifications
  • Must maintain focus and awareness during working hours.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in English.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Quick learner with the ability to memorize routine tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations will be provided for employees with disabilities if requested.
