About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Manage deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service to customers.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
  • Develop new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence databases, business directories, and existing client relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales to provide value-added services to customers.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills.
  • Team-oriented mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products - Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools preferred.
Physical Requirements

The job requires frequent standing, walking, driving, and sitting. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform other physical activities as described in the job requirements.
