Position Overview

The Regional Account Director (Aviation) plays a crucial role within our Engineering division. The successful candidate will oversee and expand a portfolio of Aviation Aftermarket Parts accounts within a specified region. This role demands a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-focused individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced sales environment. A profound understanding of airline customer requirements, commercial aircraft components, and the ability to procure materials and MRO/workshop quotes for aircraft part sales is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing in the Aviation Aftermarket Parts sector.
2. Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
3. Anticipate and understand clients' business needs, challenges, and objectives to propose effective solutions.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to devise and execute strategies that enhance sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
5. Source materials and obtain MRO/workshop quotes for aircraft part sales.
6. Maintain an extensive knowledge of commercial aircraft components and brokered aircraft parts sales.
7. Regularly assess and analyze sales performance against targets, making necessary adjustments.
8. Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and customer business environments.
9. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:
1. 7-10 years of experience in the Aviation Aftermarket Parts sector.
2. Minimum of 5 years in Aftermarket Parts Sales.
3. Direct experience in brokering Aircraft Rotables.
4. Proven success in brokered sales and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
5. Strong existing network within the industry.
6. Exceptional negotiation abilities with a keen understanding of client needs.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
8. Strong analytical capabilities to identify market trends and sales opportunities.
9. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, results-driven sales environment.
10. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
