Your Role:
As a Lead Cloud Security Architect, you will be pivotal in enhancing our security framework and overseeing the delivery of services within a multi-cloud environment. Your expertise will guide teams in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust defense strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess and mitigate security threats by developing comprehensive defense mechanisms.
2. Ensure that cloud systems are architected with security as a foundational element.
3. Conduct ongoing vulnerability assessments and compliance checks to uphold security policies.
4. Monitor cloud infrastructures for security incidents, ensuring swift automated responses.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline.
6. Act as a subject matter expert, providing mentorship and guidance to team members.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and securing cloud solutions.
- Proven expertise in cloud security controls and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of major cloud service providers, particularly AWS, Azure, and OCI.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security services focused on threat detection, data protection, and compliance.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) and security as code tools.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and address potential security risks.

Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Additional certifications in cloud security are advantageous.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant industry certifications.

Work Environment:
This position involves a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence four days a week and remote work one day a week.

Compensation and Benefits:
The typical base salary for this role ranges from $145K to $176K, depending on experience and qualifications. MUFG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness programs, retirement plans, and educational assistance.
