13. Approve security requirements based on the capabilities of new technologies.
14. Align IT security priorities with the organization's mission and vision.
15. Oversee the monitoring of external threat intelligence to maintain situational awareness.
16. Evaluate the effectiveness of the enterprise's information security measures to ensure adequate protection.
17. Provide technical documentation, incident reports, and situational awareness information to senior management.

Required Knowledge:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changing environments.
  • In-depth understanding of information security management frameworks (e.g., ISO 2700X, NIST CSF).
  • Familiarity with information assurance principles and project management techniques.
  • Experience in multi-cloud hybrid environments and modernization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FFIEC, OSFI, PCI-DSS, and SOX.
  • Understanding of network security architecture and incident response methodologies.
  • Proficiency in server and client operating systems, including Unix/Linux and Windows.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with IT teams on security-related projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and best practices.
  • 8+ years of experience in Information Security.
  • 4+ years of experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications:

A degree from a college or university, along with relevant experience in Information Security, is essential. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC are preferred.
